Meet Bill Gardenier
President/Owner of Global Select Food Group, LLC
Due to his unique ability to build long term relationships with customers, Bill was offered the position of National Sales Manager for Red Lion Hotels. Shortly thereafter, Bill was again noticed for his exceptional sales ability as well as leadership skills and became the National Director of Sales/Corporate Accounts for Red Lion Hotels. Bill also utilized his leadership skills as a Red Lion Hotels Corporate Sales Trainer. The final expansion of Bill's Hospitality Industry sales experience came in his position as National Sales Director of Corporate Accounts for Sheraton Worldwide Hotels in Los Angeles. Over the next several years, Bill again won numerous sales titles by exceeding his budgeted goals.
Bill finally found his true passion when he began working in the Food Industry some 20 years ago. Beginning with a new territory in Southern California, Bill created a market for Fresh Cut Produce while working for Field Fresh Foods, Inc. As his knowledge and customer base grew, Bill was able to eliminate his competition in many markets. Working closely with many of the Food Manufacturers and Foodservice Distributors throughout Southern California, Bill was able to build an impressive book of customers. Today, Bill continues to work closely with a large book of customers that include the Food Manufacturing and Commercial Foodservice Industries. Brian Manning
Southeast Regional Director
Brian Manning brings nearly 30 years of sales and marketing knowledge and experience to the Global Select Food Group Team. Graduating from the University of Southern California, Brian began his career in advertising and sales, co-founding Manning & Associates and building the agency into the third-largest billing agency in San Diego. Brian has successfully built and managed advertising and marketing programs for clients, including Costco, Prime Sports/Fox Sports, Prudential Health, American Golf, Petersen Publishing (Motor Trend, Hot Rod) as well as Loyal Listener Programs for numerous radio stations around the United States.
Brian sold his interest in Manning & Associates in 2003 and then co-founded Custom Publishing Group as President and Director of Sales. That year, Brian and his partner created M life Magazine for MGM Resorts International. M life Magazine is the largest in room hotel magazine in the world with distribution in more than 43,000 MGM rooms and suites. Resorts include Bellagio, ARIA, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, The Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor and many more resorts in the MGM portfolio. Over the last 17 years Brian has been directly responsible for more than 35 million in ad sales revenue. Clients have included Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Tiffany, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston, Breguet, Omega, Patek Philippe, and a long list of world class brands.

Rita Filippini
Director of Operations
Rita has built four successful businesses from inception to operation. She brings her 25+ years of entrepreneurship. Rita joined Global Select Food Group in 2018 as CEO Bill Gardenier assistant experience to her role as the Director of Operations.
Rita speaks Portuguese and Spanish along with English to be able to offer international sourcing solutions that develop your businesses providing experience, knowledge and good care.
